Often times, articles we find on money and finances are telling us all the things not to do with our money (I'm guilty of writing some of these, too!). That's all hunky dory, but then the confusion lies..."then what can I do with my money?
It's like when kids are consistently told "no, no, no," and never hear, "yes." They might lash out, or push the boundaries because all the fun is being sucked out of their world.
I'm going to start this conversation with a few bombshells. Take the time to write down your answers on these questions. It might even take a few minutes or days to ponder your true answers.
- If you had no debt or other obligations for your money, how would you spend it?
- Where do you see youself in 10, 20, 30 years? What are you doing, who are you with, how do you feel?
For some of you, you can't see the past the challenges that lie before you because there is no clear path.
Do you feel mis-lead? I haven't told you precisely what to do with your money yet.
I can't.
But what I can do is help you work through the challenges, figure out your WHY, and navigate the path to where you ultimately want to be and how to make your money get you there.
Sound daunting? It doesn't have to be.
...something's gotta change.
